The problem with America

   Many of you who are reading this are probably familiar with the government bailout of GM a few years back.  What you may not have heard about this is that the President proposed, as a condition of the bailout limited salaries of the CEO of GM, and several other large companies which were to receive bailout money to $500,000/year (source New York Times).  The cap that was later increased by a substantial amount. I am sure that many of the people reading feel this salary cap was a good idea. As you would expect, GM feels very differently about the matter.  >>read more
