Hawk attacks woman near her home.
A Pittsburg woman, Eileen Bridge, was brutally attacked by a Red tailed hawk while she was washing her car at home. Apparently a pair of red tailed hawks had built a two foot wide nest in the tall pine trees near her home, and it was full of hatchlings. The hawk dived bombed her hitting her in the head knocking her unconscious. She said; it felt like she had been hit in the head with a baseball bat. She is suffering from a black eye, cuts, and bumps on her head. The Pennsylvania game commission is planning on relocating the nest.
